On Wednesday we went to the British Museum to see the artifacts about Mesopotamia. We left at 9:30am in the coach to take us there. We arrived and dropped off our bags and coats and we had a look around at the pottery and jewellery. It was interesting to see things as old as this, some almost 4000 years old. The KS2 children were delighted to show Mrs. Walker some examples of the fantastic work done for creative homework week. A new initiative this year, encourages children to use their creativity on a particular topic for ‘homework’ or ‘home-fun!’ as some children prefer to think of it! This week the topic was ‘transport’.
The school was a hive of activity today as the children enjoyed the Maths FUNdraiser for NSPCC!
