Exhibition Road working well

Exhibition Road is fully open to traffic in both directions. We have removed the temporary traffic lights at the junction with Prince Consort Road and are gradually removing the red and white temporary barriers as road users get used to the new layout.

Now all the parking bays are marked out with stainless steel studs and the signs are up we will be enforcing parking restrictions. Remember there are only residents’ bays and Blue Badge holder bays, there are no visitor bays in Exhibition Road. The nearest pay and display bays are in Prince Consort Road and Queen’s Gate.

We hope to plant new trees in the prepared tree pits at the southern end of Exhibition Road within the next two weeks but this is dependent on weather conditions.
