Head's Biography

David Wilson

M.A.  B.Ed  R.S.A. Dip T.E.F.L.

David was educated at Sherborne School, Dorset and Exeter University where he obtained a B.Ed (Hons), specialising in French and Psychology. He taught at Wellington College and Mill Hill School before working in Switzerland and Paris as an English Language teacher and translator. In 1989, he became Head of French at Parkside School, Cobham and then Head of Languages at King's College Junior School, Wimbledon in 1993. During his time there, he completed an M.A. at Kingston University in 'School and College Management' before taking up the post of Deputy Head at Newton Preparatory School, Battersea in 1996. After 3 years there he was appointed Head of St. Nicholas Preparatory School in September 1999. David was born in Bordeaux, France and has arranged many exchanges and visits to France for children. He is a keen hockey player and cricketer, and is also a Deputy Vicars' Choral in the choir of St.Paul's Cathedral.
